Following Lord Wasserman's recommendations, the Home Secretary commissioned the establishment of an ICT company which will be owned by the police service and focus on the efficient delivery of police ICT.

Jennie Cronin, previously Programme Director for the NPIA's IMPACT programme, is the Programme Director who is leading the programme team set up by the Home Office to design and build this new company. The team is also ensuring that in-house ICT services previously supplied by the NPIA are professionally managed, following the transfer of these services to the Home Office as an interim measure until the new company is established.
