Our People

The NPIA is a non-departmental public body (NDPB) sponsored and funded by the Home Office.

The NPIA is owned and governed through the NPIA board, which is responsible for agreeing the budget and setting the objectives for the NPIA. The board comprises representatives of ACPO, APCC and the Home Office, together with the Chairman and the Chief Executive.
